Physiotherapy
We provide short-term physiotherapy services free of cost for individuals who do not have access to extended health benefits. Services are provided by Registered Physiotherapists and are offered for individuals who do not have access to extended health benefits. We give priority for services to individuals from equity deserving communities, those living with complex medical and social needs, chronic medical conditions, and those facing barriers related to social determinants of health.
Our team supports non-team-based primary care providers by accepting referrals for their vulnerable (medically and socially complex) clients to services available at VCHC. Please find our referral form and fax number below. We also accept self-referrals.
Services
Services Include:
- Education and self-management strategies for improvement of conditions within a limited number of appointments.
- Soft tissue and manual therapy techniques.
- Functional activity and exercise training.
