York Region Voluntary Self-Isolation Centre:
Need help to self-isolate?
Close contact continues to drive the spread of COVID-19 in York Region. Residents who need a comfortable place to safely self-isolate from others may be eligible for a free stay at York Region’s COVID-19 Voluntary Isolation Centre. While the Centre is not a health care facility, it can be a home away from home for residents to rest and recover from COVID-19, free of charge for up to 14 days.
For those who have come in close contact with someone with COVID-19, the Centre is a safe place to self-isolate. Each stay at the Centre helps reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community. The Centre is operated by the Canadian Red Cross on York Region’s behalf.
