Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (MSAA)
The Local Health System Integration Act, 2006 requires that Health Service Providers (HSP), like the Vaughan Community Health Centre, enter into a service accountability agreement with the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). The Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (MSAA) is a multi-year agreement that supports a collaborative relationship between the LHIN and the HSP. The objective of this agreement is to improve the health of Ontarians through better access to high-quality health care services, to co-ordinate health care in local health systems and to manage the health system at the local level effectively and efficiently. QUALITY IMPROVEMENT Plan
Annual quality improvement plans guide the Vaughan Community Health Centre in its efforts to deliver the highest quality of services to its clients. The Quality Improvement Plans are monitored by the Quality Improvement Committee that is comprised of: Executive Director, Director of Programs and Services, Reception Team Lead, Allied Health Program Coordinator, Chronic Disease Prevention & Management Program Coordinator, Physician/Nurse Practitioner, Registered Practical Nurse, Allied Health Professional representatives and community representatives. The Committee monitors the annual plan on a quarterly basis and makes recommendations in quality improvement.
